What is 1CLIMB?

1Climb began with a shared desire to take kids climbing and to take climbing to kids.   By partnering with the Boys and Girls Clubs across America, we are changing the lives of kids via building climbing walls in their club facilities and taking their club members to local climbing gyms.

“1Climb has the potential to change the trajectory of a kid’s life. For that simple reason, we want to introduce climbing to as many kids as possible.”

– Kevin Jorgeson

1Climb + adidas Outdoor

In order to help introduce 100,000 kids to the sport of climbing, we are proud to announce a new partnership with adidas Outdoor. Ultimately, with adidas Outdoor’s support, 1Climb will be able to install 10 new permanent climbing walls in Boys and Girls Clubs across the US. The 10 new walls will be built in areas of New York City, Los Angeles, and Chicago.

What makes climbing special is so much more than a climbing wall. It’s the people behind the sport. The community. That’s why our partners are such an important part of our program.” – Tim Baum (1Climb director)

How Did So iLL get involved with TOMS?

“Climbing can be a positive sense of escape and a positive activity that they (kids) build some identity around. I’m excited to see and meet some of the kids that will climb for the first time. I’m really excited to see in 5, 10, 15 years who these kids become.”

      – Blake Mycoskie, Founder of TOMS
